Cummings Center recognizes veteran clients

Veterans Day, the anniversary of the signing of the armistice ending World War I, is a time for remembrance and showing gratitude to all who have served our country.  Cummings Center in Beverly, the largest corporate campus on the North Shore of Boston, is home to numerous veteran-owned client firms, such as CrossFit Five Plus.

Co-owner and head coach Chris Welch is US Navy veteran who is focused on helping others achieve personal health and wellness. While in the Navy, Chris was always challenged to approach and overcome obstacles that appeared insurmountable at first.  Knowing first-hand the satisfaction of conquering mental obstacles, Chris thrives on helping athletes break through a mental barrier and on seeing the excitement on their faces the first time they achieve something they didn’t believe they could do. Visit the CrossFit website or stop by 100 Cummings Center, Suite 135-E to meet Chris and learn more about the CrossFit community.

A veteran himself, Bill Cummings has a long history of supporting those in need – and through Cummings Foundation and Cummings Properties’ Employee Directed Giving programs, he has done just that. These programs have already awarded more than a half a million dollars to local veteran organizations like Friends of Woburn Veterans, New England Center and Home for Veterans, Veterans Legal Services, and The Service Dog Project.

Chris Welch and Bill Cummings have chosen to give back to their communities, and they are not alone in that effort. Many client firms within the Cummings Center business neighborhood are offering military-inspired wellness services; see below for a few special offerings for all veterans and their families.
